Easily turn plain shoes into summery starfish shoes to wear to the beach.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• paper towels
• hot glue gun
• #8 round brush
• wax paper or freezer paper
• #6 round brush
• canvas slip-on shoes
• 4 wooden star embellishments

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Cut a small piece of wax paper or freezer paper. Place underneath one of the canvas strips to avoid getting paint on another part of the shoes. (refer to photo) Using a #8 round brush, paint one strip on each shoe in Deep Turquoise.

2. Repeat the above process on another strip, this time using Turquoise Waters. (refer to photo)

3. Using #8 round brush paint the two larger stars in Lipstick. Using #8 round brush paint the two smaller stars in Paprika.

4. Using #8 round brush paint the inner portion of the star in Muted Gold (slightly blending the colors) Using the #8 round brush add highlights in Light Muted Gold (mixture 1: Muted Gold and 1: Cotton Ball) Using #6 round brush paint the accent dots in Cotton Ball.

5. Use a hot glue gun to adhere the stars in place.
