Springtime Baseball Banner

Celebrate baseball season on a vintage baseball banner made with Americana Decor® Chalky Finish™.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- hot glue gun
- jute, hemp, string, or yarn
- papier-mâché shape
- paintbrushes
- cardstock paper
- clean rag
INSTRUCTIONS
- Cut the cardstock into triangles, using the provided pattern. Carefully pull out the strings out of the papier-mâché balls, if they are attached.
- Paint the balls in Lace. Allow to dry and apply a second coat. Using Romance, paint the stitches on the balls (See the provided pattern for placement.)
- Use the pattern to create the baseball banner triangle out of the cardstock. Paint the background in Lace and use Romance for the stitches. Allow to dry.
- Attach the string to the balls and triangles with hot glue.
- Paint the baseballs and triangles with Clear Creme Wax and allow to dry. Using a clean rag, roughly wipe Golden Brown Creme Wax onto the ball to mimic red clay. Let dry.
- Once dry, hang the banner up to celebrate opening day or a baseball lover's birthday.
