- Americana® Gloss Enamels Glass Chalkboard Paint (DS111)
Other supplies
- paper towels
- rubbing alcohol
- 1/4" flat brush
- Silhouette electronic cutting machine or craft knife
- Contac® paper
- cosmetic sponge
- antique canning jar
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Clean the jar with rubbing alcohol.
- With a craft knife or cutting machine, cut a round stencil out of Contac® paper and place it on the jar. Press it down well.
- Using the cosmetic sponge, apply Glass Chalkboard Paint over the stencil. Apply multiple coats as needed.
- Remove the stencil. Follow the Glass Chalkboard Paint label instructions to bake the jar.
- Paint a ring around the lip of the jar with the 1/4" flat brush and Dark Scarlet. Apply multiple coats as needed.
- Fill the jar with items of your choice. (I used miniature pool balls.)
