Organize your school year with a chalkboard calendar using Americana neon paint!

SUPPLIES

• paper towels
• small nail and hammer
• - 1/2" paint brush
• wooden tag
• wood pallet plaque
• wood heart
• bistro chalk pens
• chalk

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Follow instructions on Clear Chalkboard coating, applying horizontally and vertically. Once Clear Chalkboard Coating is applied, rub entire surface with plain white chalk and wipe off with paper towel.

1. Place wooden tags on the wooden pallet to see what the best placement is. Measure how far in on sides you want the tags to begin and end.

2. Apply Americana Acrylics Electric Blue, Thermal Green, Torrid Orange, Fiery Red and Sizzling Pink to your pallet slats. Each color will need three to four coats to get a true vibrant neon color!

3. Apply Americana Acrylic Lamp Black to each wooden tag. Once dry apply Americana Clear Chalkboard to each tag and on each slat of the pallet.

4. Measure and hammer in small nails into your pallet for tags to hang on.

5. Take chalk and lay flat on surfaces and cover completely. Use paper towels to wipe off.

6. Using bistro chalk markers, add your month to the top and dates to your tags. Add fun extra wooden embellishments for activities during the week. This is a sure way to keep your children on track and excited to kick off the school year!
