Kick off the school year with a colorful banner made with Americana® Multi-Surface Acrylics.

SUPPLIES

• scissors
• cardboard
• craft glue
• tracing & transfer paper
• twine
• scrapbook paper
• medium brush
• papier mâché shape

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Trace the provided pattern to cardboard and scrapbook paper. Cut out the six pieces with scissors. Use a medium brush and Satin Decou-Page to decoupage the scrapbook paper to the cardboard. Make watercolors by mixing the paint with water. Use a medium brush to loosely paint the pennants in all six colors. (Iris, Lipstick, Pumpkin Patch, School Bus, True Blue, and Turf Green)

2. Use a medium brush to paint the numbers in letters in all six colors. Let dry.

3. Use craft glue to adhere the letters and numbers to the pennants. Let dry. Use craft glue to adhere twine to the back of the pennants.
