This art caddy gets inspiration from a quote and its color from Americana® Acrylics.

SUPPLIES

• scissors
• Mason jars
• tissue paper
• small and medium brushes
• pencil
• whitewashed box

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Use a medium brush to paint the inside of the box in Jack-O'-Lantern Orange. Use a medium brush, saturated with water to create a watercolor effect, and paint the outside of the box in Hauser Light Green, blending to Cadmium Yellow.

2. Use a small brush to paint ovals of various sizes throughout the outside of the box in Snow White. Let dry.

3. Transfer a favorite quote to the outside of the box in pencil. Use a Black Glass Paint Marker to trace the design/quote. Use Fuchsia, Orange, and Turquoise Glass Paint Markers to fill in the letters.

4. Use scissors to cut out tissue paper (in yellow, light blue, green) into small squares.

5. Use a medium brush and Matte Decou-Page to adhere the tissue squares to the Mason jars (one in each color).

6. Continue adhering the tissue squares to the entire Mason jar, except for the top rim. Let dry.

7. Place the Mason jars in the box.
