DIY Valentines Day Crafts | Valentine's Bingo

Having a Valentine's party at school or home? This is a fun game to make using Americana® Acrylics.

SUPPLIES

  • water container
  • palette or plastic plate
  • paper towels
  • tracing paper
  • transfer paper
  • scissors
  • ruler
  • pencil
  • #6 flat brush
  • #1 liner brush
  • cosmetic sponge
  • cardstock

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

  1. Choose two colors of cardstock. (We used light pink for the game card and light blue for the banner.) Use a pencil and ruler to measure 2-1/2"x 6" on the banner color. Use scissors to cut out.

  3. Use the Americana Array of Arrows stencil to make a border around the sides and bottom of the game card piece of cardstock. Load a new cosmetic sponge for each color arrow or fletching: Coral Blush, Boysenberry Pink, Razzle Berry, and Watermelon Slice.

  5. Use a pencil or stylus and the tracing and transfer papers to trace and transfer the BINGO word pattern onto the cut piece of cardstock. Use the #6 flat brush and Sea Breeze to paint all around "BINGO". Rinse brush.

  7. Use a ruler and pencil to help trace and transfer the grid of the game board onto the larger piece of cardstock.

  9. Use the #1 liner brush and Sea Breeze to paint on the word "Valentine's". Rinse brush.

  11. Use a pencil to fill in the card numbers so they are not all the same.

  13. Use the #1 liner brush and Coral Blush for the inside of the heart and Watermelon Slice for the outside. Rinse brush between colors and at the end.

  15. Use the #1 liner brush and Sea Breeze to fill in the numbers. Rinse brush.
  16. Instruction #8
  17. Use the #6 flat brush to mix (1) part Watermelon Slice with (1) part Coral Blush. Use mix to fill in the word "BINGO". Use the #1 liner brush and Watermelon Slice to outline the grid and the word "BINGO" and to fill in the hearts in the word "BINGO". Rinse brush.
