These ornamental candlesticks, painted with Americana ® Acrylics, are the perfect trio for Arabian-themed décor.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • candlesticks
    • candles
    • paintbrushes

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Paint each candlestick in sections of French Mauve, Sapphire, Salem Blue, and Berry Cobbler. Where the colors meet up, create an ombre effect between the two by blending them over each other.

    2. Using a fan brush, apply Galaxy Blue over the Sapphire and Salem Blue sections and Sparkling Pink over the Berry Cobbler and French Mauve sections.

    3. Transfer Gold into the writer bottle with the ultra fine tip. Use this to apply the gold decorations.

    4. Add Gold lines to each candlestick in the natural areas where it ripples.

    5. Add more ornamental details to the candlesticks, like swirls, paisley shapes, dots, and spirals.
