Crisp stripes and a summer image anchor this easy-to-make wall accent.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • tracing paper
    • transfer paper
    • pencil
    • 1" painter's tape
    • #12 flat brush
    • #1 liner brush
    • wooden frame

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Start with a plain wooden frame.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Use a #12 flat brush and load with Snow White to paint the frame. Rinse brush.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Use a #12 flat brush and load with Splendid Gold to paint the cardboard backing. Rinse brush.

    7. Rip 1" painter's tape to make horizontal stripes on the frame.
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Use a #12 flat brush and load with Zinc to paint on stripes. Rinse brush and remove tape.
    10. Instruction #5
    11. Use a pencil or pen and tracing and transfer papers to trace and transfer the anchor pattern onto the frame backing.
    12. Use a #1 liner brush and load with Primary Blue to fill in the anchor pattern. Rinse brush.

    14. Once dry, put the backing back into the frame.
