Framed Anchor Art

Crisp stripes and a summer image anchor this easy-to-make wall accent.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- pencil
- 1" painter's tape
- #12 flat brush
- #1 liner brush
- wooden frame
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Start with a plain wooden frame.
- Use a #12 flat brush and load with Snow White to paint the frame. Rinse brush.
- Use a #12 flat brush and load with Splendid Gold to paint the cardboard backing. Rinse brush.
- Rip 1" painter's tape to make horizontal stripes on the frame.
- Use a #12 flat brush and load with Zinc to paint on stripes. Rinse brush and remove tape.
- Use a pencil or pen and tracing and transfer papers to trace and transfer the anchor pattern onto the frame backing.
- Use a #1 liner brush and load with Primary Blue to fill in the anchor pattern. Rinse brush.
- Once dry, put the backing back into the frame.
