A tisket, a tasket, here's a recycled basket, made new again with Americana® Decou-Page™.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• 3/4" flat brush
• scrapbook paper
• craft knife
• wood mini basket with hinged lid
• gingham ribbon

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Use a 3/4" flat brush to apply Americana Matte Decou-Page on basket lid. Position and press scrapbook paper onto surface, smoothing out any bubbles with fingers.
2. Use 3/4" flat brush to apply additional coat(s) of Decou-Page over scrapbook paper. Allow to dry between coats.
3. Use craft knife to trim away excess scrapbook paper from the edges.
4. Load 3/4" flat brush with Staining/Antiquing Medium. Pick up a small amount of Dark Chocolate on the corner of the brush. With the paint side out, pull the brush around the edges and blend to antique.
5. Mist the basket and lid with Americana Matte Spray Finish.
6. Use Calypso Blue Writer to personalize as desired.
