  • water container
  • palette or plastic plate
  • paper towels
  • transfer paper
  • sandpaper
  • scissors
  • pencil
  • 1" flat brush
  • craft glue
  • #0 liner brush
  • The Spellbinders® Grand Calibur® Machine (and embossing folder of choice)
  • watercolor paper
  • scrapbook paper (blue; 1 piece; for front of envelope)
  • envelope

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Transfer the two large burger buns, two lettuce, larger cheese, and larger patty onto the watercolor paper. Cut out. Create a mix of Fawn and Espresso and use the mix to paint the burger buns. Paint the lettuce Irish Moss; the cheese, Saffron Yellow; and the patty, Espresso. (Be sure to paint the front and back of everything.) Run everything but one burger bun through a Spellbinders embossing folder.

  2. Transfer the smaller cheese, bun, patty, and lettuce onto the watercolor paper. Paint each in the same color as the larger ones. (See step 1.) But paint only the front of these pieces. Lightly sand area on the larger piece where the small piece will be glued onto it. Use craft glue to adhere.

  3. Transfer the lettering and paint in Snow White, True Blue, and True Red using a #0 liner brush. (Refer to photo for color placement.)

  4. Free-hand the date and time onto the cheese. Paint using the same colors as step 3. Use the handle end of a paintbrush to make polka dots randomly. (Refer to photo for color placement.)

  5. Free-hand the address information onto the patty. Paint in swirls randomly. (Refer to photo for color placement.)

  6. Free-hand RSVP information on the lettuce. Use the handle end of the paintbrush to create dots. (Refer to photo for color placement.)

  7. Free-hand any additional information. Paint stars around the outside edge. (Refer to photo for color placement.)

  8. Run the envelope through a Spellbinders embossing machine.

  9. Cut a piece of blue scrapbook paper slightly smaller than the envelope. Use craft glue to adhere. Free-hand name and address on the blue paper. Randomly place stars on upper left corner and alternate True Red and Snow White striping.

  10. Around the edge and the back of the envelope, use the handle end of the paintbrush to create dots.
