Other supplies

  • water container
  • palette or plastic plate
  • paper towels
  • stylus or pencil
  • wagon (Michaels)
  • paintbrushes
  • carbon paper or transfer paper

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES: Remove the hardware, wheels, and wagon lead before painting. Let dry completely between painting steps.

  1. Paint the entire wagon in Frosted Plum.
  2. Transfer the provided fall leaf pattern using carbon or transfer paper.
  3. Transfer the provided winter snowflake pattern using carbon or transfer paper.
  4. Paint the leaf at the far left and right edge and in the middle in Spiced Pumpkin. Paint the large maple leaf in the background and the small leaf in the middle foreground in Marigold. Paint the small leaf in the middle and the large leaf in the right background in Cranberry Wine. Paint the remaining leaves in Blush Pink.
  5. Outline and add veins to the Spiced Pumpkin leaves using French Grey Blue. Outline and add veins to the Blush Pink leaves in Tropical Blue. Outline and add veins to the Marigold leaves in Cranberry Wine. Outline and add veins to the Cranberry Wine leaves in Vintage Pink.
  6. Paint the large snowflake in Tropical Blue. Paint the smaller snowflake to the left behind the Tropical Blue one and the snowflake to the far right in Vintage Pink. Paint the small snowflake behind the Tropical Blue one to the right in White Peach. Paint the two small snowflakes directly next to the Vintage Pink ones in French Grey Blue. Paint the remaining two snowflakes in Blush Pink.
  7. Outline and add details to the Tropical Blue and French Grey Blue snowflakes in Dried Clay. Outline and add details to the White Peach snowflake in Cranberry Wine. Outline and add details to the Blush Pink snowflakes in Tropical Blue. Outline and add details to the Vintage Pink snowflakes in French Grey Blue.
  8. Paint the wheels and wagon leader in Espresso. Let dry and, once dry, re-attach to the wagon.
