Debra L. Welty has been a teacher in the field of Decorative Art since 1985, earning her certification as a Teacher of Decorative Art in May of 2004. Proficient in all mediums, Debra loves designing and teaching fun as well as realistic projects on fabric using DecoArt fabric paints and even pen and ink. She also loves to design and teach in oils and acrylics. In 2003 Debra joined the “circuit” as a national traveling teacher. Since then she has taught at major conventions around the country. Debra teaches regularly at mini-retreats, chapters and in her home studio, Jubilee Junction. After an absence of 14 years Debra once again began submitting articles for publication. You can see her work in “The Decorative Painter” beginning with issue #2 of 2009 continuing to the present.
