This super simple Mother’s Day gift DIY is sure to make a meaningful memory that she will cherish. You can turn a simple photo into a unique mother’s day gift in just a few easy steps. • Americana Multi-Surface Satin Acrylics 8oz - Lipstick (DA506-9)
• Americana Multi-Surface Satin Acrylics 2oz - Raspberry (DA573-30)
• Americana Multi-Surface Satin Acrylics 2oz - Jungle Green (DA578-30)
• Americana Multi-Surface Satin Acrylics 2oz - Hydrangea (DA584-30)
• Large Flat Paintbrush
• Round 6 Paintbrush
• Paint Palette
• Wooden Backing Board (size Of Your Choice)
• Small Clothespin Clips
• Wood Glue
• Photo

Instructions:

You’ll start by adding two layers of Americana Multi-Surface Satin in the shade Black Tie onto the wooden backing to create a black background.

The Multi-Surface Satin is so versatile, you can use it on virtually any surface and no primer is needed. It’s specially designed to brush out smoothly and is super durable too. There are over 100 colors so you shouldn’t have a hard time finding some you love!

Wait for the black to dry completely, then you can go in with your favorite pops of color! I chose to do some simple hearts here. I love how the colors pop against the dark background!

Next, we’re going to take some small clothespin clips and paint those to match

Once they dry, take a little wood glue and use the other half of the wooden backing to create a place for your photo display.

And VOILA! An easy one-of-a-kind DIY Mother’s Day gift that will go straight to her heart!
