Apply black Gesso to the interior surfaces.

Apply Modelling paste through Andy Skinner's Shredded Stencil leaving the centre clear for stamping. Allow surface to dry for approximately two hours.

Mix a 95 / 5% DecoArt Metallic Silver and Dioxazine Purple and apply to the outside surfaces of the box.

Pinterest Logo

Stamp the signs from Andy Skinner's Toxic stamp set with Black Stazon ink.

Pinterest Logo

The sides were stamped with the texture from Andy’s Toxic set, love this stamp as is so multifunctional as a Crackle, peeled paint effect, wood or in this case a snakeskin effect.

Pinterest Logo

Distress the outer edges by dry brushing with Carbon Black Media Fluid Acrylic.

The metal embellishments were all coloured with Alcohol Inks.

Pinterest Logo

Apply DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylic Interference colours in Violet and Gold.

The beauty of the Interference Fluid Acrylics are always difficult to capture but they add to the metallic effect.

It was a open and shut case!
