DIY Bubbles Glass Water Bottle

DIY Bubbles Glass Water Bottle

Posted by DecoArt on Sep 17th 2013

I always like to keep a chilled pitcher of water in the fridge, and lately I've been using these simple bottles I picked up at a local supply shop.  I decided to jazz up one of the bottles using Deco Art's Gloss Enamel paint!

Items Needed:

  • Glass Bottles
  • Paint Brush

Instructions:

First, you will want to clean the bottle and let it dry well. Next, use a small paint brush to draw bubbles on the outside of the water bottle.  I chose Deco Art's Gloss Enamels "Calypso Blue".

After you are finished painting the bubbles, bake the bottle for 30 minutes at 325 degrees. TIP: You will want to put the glass in the oven before it heats up.

My bubble water bottle turned out so nice, after finding it in the fridge my fiance actually thought I had purchased a new one! Much to his surprise, it had just undergone a simple DecoArt paint transformation! I think I'll paint some bubble glasses to match it next.
