In our series of Daily Craft Blasts, we are sharing encouragement and inspiration to help you stay creative and build community. Everything can be done at home with your family! Check-in daily to get involved and participate in the action! We are in this together and are proud to be #MadeForMakers.

All the activities below are great opportunities for the whole family to get creative and will help to bust the boredom while keeping young minds active.

Have fun while at home with this DIY "I spy" boredom-busting game made with Americana® Acrylics. See how many of items around the house start with each letter of the alphabet.

The kids will have loads of fun, first making, then playing with these lions painted with Americana® Acrylics. The best part is these puppets are made with paper plates. What a great upcycle!

Materials for this journal, painted with Americana® Acrylics, are odds and ends found at home. The challenge is to see how many things can be found around your home that can be incorporated into this journal's construction.

Then, make a list of things for your kids to find on a walk or around the house. Here are some ideas to get you started:
  • A small flat rock
  • A clothespin
  • Colored paper clip
  • A 12" length of yarn, ribbon or string
  • A button
  • A fortune cookie fortune
  • A plastic spoon or fork
  • A stray sock with no mate
  • An old shoelace
  • Cut out letters from words in an old magazine to form words
  • An acorn or tree seedling
  • A flower
  • A piece of wrapping paper
  • A wallet-sized school picture

Help your kids set goals for themselves on this chart, made with Americana® Acrylics. This season of certainty spent at home doesn't have to put life on hold. Help the whole family continue to learn and grow with school, health, and personal goals.
