Autumn is the perfect season for changing up your tablescape and embracing the calm, quiet season that is Fall. Here are our top five tips for creating a beautiful Fall Harvest Table

  • Look to nature for color inspiration. Go foraging with your family and collect pine cones, fallen branches and leaves. Once you have your found items, bundle them together with twine and lay them down the length of your table.

  • Incorporate fabric and texture by using burlap. Tie it around chair backs, paint it with Dazzling Metallics and stencils, use it as a table runner. The possibilities with burlap are endless!

  • Paint faux pumpkins with Gloss Enamels and Multi Surface Satin to suit your overall style. Don’t forget to add some glitter or metallic paint for added dimension and visual interest.

  • After a day out apple picking, place your apples in various vases and bowls, then set in the middle of your table or kitchen island. The colour will reflect off of the glass vessels and apples are an iconic Autumn symbol

  • When entertaining guests, keep your place settings simple. White china is the best option to ensure that your table scape stands out, and stainless utensils can be tied together with twine or burlap to further embellish the harvest table.

Fall Harvest is an easy thing to bring into your home if you can think about the colors, smells and foods that go along with it. Apples, pumpkins, wheat. The perfect color palette, actually!

Then bring in the scents of cinnamon, vanilla and brown sugar. All of the elements come together to create the perfect atmosphere, and harvest table for your fall entertaining.

Don’t forget the candle light! Stack various heights of neutral colored, but yummy scented candles, on a wooden board painted with Glamour Dust Glitter Paint to bring more glamour into your centrepiece!
