DIY Coffee Organization Station

Keep your cup of joe organized with this easy DIY coffee organization station!

One of the perks I love about staying in hotels is having coffee right at my fingertips when I wake up. Everything to make the perfect cup of coffee is all together and nicely organized. Since I can’t live in a hotel (it would be nice to have room service every single day!), I thought I would create my own coffee station since it’s one of the features I love about hotel rooms!

The bamboo organizer I received from DecoArt is the perfect size to store coffee pods, sugar packs, and creamer. I added DecoArt Americana Decor Satin Enamels to the outside of the organizer and left the drawers unfinished since I love the look of paint and raw wood together. To really customize my DIY coffee organization station, I used my Cricut to cut labels. Now every time I wake up in the morning I can feel as though I’m on vacation if even for just a minute! Check out the full video tutorial below to see how I transformed my bamboo organizer into a DIY coffee organization station!

Items needed:
Americana Decor Satin Enamels - Soft Linen
Americana Decor Paintbrush
Black adhesive vinyl
Cutting machine
Cutting mat
Transfer tape
Light grit sandpaper

Before you get started, lightly shake the paint to make sure it’s mixed. Also, lightly rub just the top, back and sides of the organizer (do not rub the drawers) with light grit sandpaper to help the paint adhere better.

Step 1: Remove the drawers from the organizer.

Step 2: Add DecoArt Americana Decor Satin Enamels to the top and sides of the organizer. Let the paint dry.

Step 3: Add a second coat of paint and let dry. Continue adding coats of paint to the organizer until you are happy with the coverage.

Step 4: Cut out labels from a Cricut machine to fit on the front of the drawers. If you don’t have a Cricut machine, you could also use alphabet stickers from any craft store.

Step 5: Remove the negative from the adhesive vinyl and place a piece of transfer top on top. Burnish the letters to remove them from the vinyl liner.

Step 6: Place the transfer tape on the front of the drawer and burnish to transfer the vinyl letters. Then, remove the transfer tape.

Step 7: Add the trays back into the organizer.

Step 8: Fill your organizer with your favorite coffee essentials!

If you look forward to enjoying a good cup of coffee in the morning, you’re going to love how everything will be nice and neat with this DIY coffee organization station! Not only will you feel a little slice of hotel vacation life, but your guests will also be able to make their own coffee in the morning without bothering you since all of the coffee supplies will be organized in one place!
