Filling up my home with artwork is one of my favorite things to do when it comes to changing out my décor. I love how artwork can set the tone for a space as well as bring in accent colors. This can be a pricey way to change out the look and feel of a space if you are buying actual artwork from an artist. So, instead of buying any more art, I made my own DIY beginner abstract artwork!

When I was challenged with using the DecoArt Traditions Artist Acrylics, I have to admit, I was a bit nervous since this is definitely out of my comfort zone. I was up for the challenge and am so happy with how my abstract artwork turned out. The Traditions paints were very easy to work with and blended so nicely (especially for someone like me who’s a beginner!). I have to say, I’m now hooked on creating my own artwork and can’t wait to create more! Check out the video tutorial below to see how you can make your own DIY beginner abstract artwork!
