Each month we feature one of our favorite DecoArt creators here on the blog in a series called Meet the Maker to give you a chance to see some of their favorite DecoArt projects! To start off 2019, we'd like to introduce you to Katie Smith of Studio Katie. 

Creativity is a way of life for Katie Smith. It's hard to pinpoint her specialty as she does it all! Katie enjoys drawing, painting, scrapbooking, art journaling, crocheting, quilting, and completing DIY projects. Convinced by her sister in 2010, Katie started her blog to share all of her nature and space inspired works of art! If you love bright, colorful galaxy art, beautifully shot workspaces, and everything in between, you need to follow Studio Katie. Enjoy a couple of fun, interesting facts about Katie:

  • She's a Texan now living in the pacific northwest.
  • She's an introvert who enjoys chilling at home in her pajamas watching Bob Ross. 
  • She has 2 pet guinea pigs, Gizmo and Milkyway.
  • Black, unsweetened tea is her go-to drink of choice.
