I’m always looking to create something new as the seasons change, and loving grungy texture, this project really satisfies all the things that reflect the harvest season.

Using modeling paste and gesso along with crackle paint brings this piece to life. The layers of glazing medium really show off the texture while allowing the rich fall colors to show through. I hope you enjoy the project and watching the process. Have fun creating!

I think it is beautiful and want to do it for a group project! What did you print the word harvest on? Plain paper, vellum, other? And was the charcoal pencil colored in any way or just the normal color of charcoal pencil?

Hi Theresa - I printed the word on tissue paper and the charcoal pencil is just a regular charcoal pencil no color.
