Lighten Up For Spring

I'm not sure what the groundhog will be telling you about spring coming in your neck of the woods, but saw shadow or no shadow, spring is coming my friends!
And my favorite thing to do with warmer days ahead is to lighten up for spring!
You don't have to spend loads of money to get your home spring-ready, I've got a few easy and budget friendly ideas to brighten up your space.
The front door is the first chance we get to welcome friends and family, why not do a little something different for spring!?
And if you already decorate with tiered trays, simply add a few spring elements and you instantly lighten up a room...
Bringing outdoor elements inside is something I do in every season, but never is it more welcome than in spring. These simple birch bark pots full of spring green moss are beautiful in their simplicity don't you think?
And nothing is more fun and budget friendly than painting mason jars with Chalky Finish Paint! These pastel jars would be gorgeous on your table with tulips spilling over the edges!
Look around your house. Do you have a few light color elements that you can group together? I bet you do! Grouping similar color, simple everyday things makes a big impact in a room.
As the days get longer and the sun starts coaxing bulbs from their winter sleep, you might want to go all out and decorate your mantel with all things spring. I love this happy mantel...makes me long for warmer days!
And finally the time will come when it's warm enough to throw an outdoor party! This flower chandy hanging from a tree branch is super easy and super cheap using only things from the grocery!
I don't know about you, but as much as I'm enjoying snuggling in this winter, I'll welcome spring time!
Have a sunny day my friends xo
