DecoArt Satin Enamels Paint -
Satin Enamels is a go-to paint for creating beautiful acrylic paint pours and DIY projects. It has unbelievable coverage and an amazing durable satin finish. Satin Enamels is a great kitchen and cabinet paint. Its durability also makes it a great furniture and dresser paint. Satin Enamels paint is also popular among fluid artists and has become a fan favorite with acrylic pouring. Want to achieve the beauty of cloud pours? You have to have Satin Enamels Pure White!
Water based acrylic paint. Not outdoor approved. Artist tested approved surfaces: canvas, wood, MDF, metal, glass, terra cotta, furniture, glazed ceramics, pyrex, recycled glass. Finish: Satin. Not bakeable for a dishwasher safe finish. Dry time: allow to dry 1-2 hours between coats *dry time may vary due to temperature, humidity, and other environmental factors.
Directions: No primer or sealer is needed before painting or to protect the finish afterwards. For better coverage on slick surfaces, use a light touch. Pressing too firmly with the brush can cause paint to slide off the surface. For an eggshell finish, use a high-density cosmetic sponge to tap the paint onto the surface. This technique will also give your basecoat "tooth" that makes it easier for additional coats of paint or painted designs to adhere. Clean pre-finished surfaces thoroughly before painting. Use TSP (Trisodium Phosphate) or a degreaser to clean the surface thoroughly. Follow label instructions for best results.
For furniture: Remove hardware. Place hardware for each door or drawer in a separate sealable bag. Label bag with a piece of tape and a marker or place a piece of paper with info inside the bag. Remove drawers and/or doors. Use a piece of masking tape to label them with their original location. Make sure to put the tape on an area you won't be painting, like the drawer bottom or back of doors, so that you won't have to remove the label during the painting process.

Bought this paint in white. Used it on a 20 yr old oak vanity. It came out beautiful. Nice hard smooth finish. No sanding required. Used 2 coats. Also bought the black. Used it on a couple of end tables. Again beautiful smooth finish. Definitely would reccomend this paint

I love this paint!
I painted an old coffee table with Seaside Blue, Smokey Gray. I stripped the top, stenciled with Seaside Blue, Pure White and Curb Appeal Harbor Blue, than topcoated with water-based polycrylic. It was quite a project but I love my table and, having dogs, I need something resistant. This paint will stand the test of time. I have used this paint for many projects and I never had to repaint, repair because of scratches. The paint sticks very well.

Satin enamels
I’m asked all the time if I add silicone to my paintings due to the incredible reactions and cells and I’m always so happy to respond, “NO, I never add silicone to any of my paintings because Decoart Satin Enamels makes the most beautiful cells and details without any other additives!!” I very seldom do a painting that doesn’t have Decoart paints!! I do with you’d bring back the linen and the seaside blue…PLEASE!! Thank you Decoart!!
