These jewelry dishes are both trendy and simple to paint using Americana Acrylics.
SUPPLIES
- flat brush
- glass bowl
- polymer clay
INSTRUCTIONS
- Gather all of your materials, such as air-dry or oven-backed clay, brushes, and your favorite Americana colors.
- Knead clay and roll into a ball. Using the pastry roller, roll ball until it is in a flat circle. Once flatten, drape it over an oven-safe bowl and bake at packaged directions.
- Once cooled down, begin painting. Add water to painting tray and a drop of desired paint color. Mix with paint brush. Brush the mix onto the inside of the dish.
- While the paint is still wet, use a towel and pat to dry the paint. Doing this will pick up any access paint and create a watercolor effect.
- Paint the outside of the dish in Gold. Once the outside of dish is dried, paint rim of dish Gold and allow it to dry.
