Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Measure and cut a piece of 1/4" plywood to 15" x 16".
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Cut and sand the edges of the scrap wood: these are 1" x 3". (Make sure each row measures the same; it can hang over a little bit from the backing.)
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Paint the sides and top of each piece of the scrap wood using a 1" flat brush in Everlasting.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Line up the scrap wood as planned and glue down each piece of wood to the plywood backing.
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Clamp until dry. Use another piece of scrap wood on the shiplap side, turn over, and clamp to create a flat surface. Let dry. Once dry, remove the clamps.
    10. Instruction #5
    11. Using the file provided, cut out vinyl stencil using a Silhouette machine. Position the stencil. (Refer to photo for placement.)
    12. Instruction #6
    13. Using a cosmetic sponge, paint the inside of the stencil in Romance.
