INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Using a saw, cut a 45-degree angle off one end of each of the plaques.
- Use screws and wood glue to attach two of the pieces of wood to create a 90-degree angle. Let dry. Once dry, sand any rough edges and wipe away sanding dust with a paper towel.
- Attach the owl, or desired shape, to the wooden blocks using E6000 Glue. Be sure that the owl is adhered on the correct side so the bookends face each other.
- Apply a coat of French Mauve over the entire bookends using a 1/2" flat brush.
- Using a soft cloth, apply Rose Gold evenly over both bookends.
- For added durability, spray with Americana Spray Finish in finish of choice. (We used Gloss Spray Finish.)
