    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Using a saw, cut a 45-degree angle off one end of each of the plaques.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Use screws and wood glue to attach two of the pieces of wood to create a 90-degree angle. Let dry. Once dry, sand any rough edges and wipe away sanding dust with a paper towel.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Attach the owl, or desired shape, to the wooden blocks using E6000 Glue. Be sure that the owl is adhered on the correct side so the bookends face each other.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Apply a coat of French Mauve over the entire bookends using a 1/2" flat brush.
    8. Using a soft cloth, apply Rose Gold evenly over both bookends.
    9. Instruction #5
    10. For added durability, spray with Americana Spray Finish in finish of choice. (We used Gloss Spray Finish.)
