SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • #3/0 liner brush
    • #0 liner brush
    • 1-1/4" sponge pouncer
    • 9" x 3-1/2" cylindrical glass vase
    • 3/4" pouncer

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Starting with a 1-1/4" pouncer, twirl the sponge head around in Razzle Berry. Use this same motion to apply paint to glass vase, creating circles.
    2. Using both sizes of pouncers and different colors (except for Festive and Citron Green), create a variety of circles all over the vase at different heights.
    3. Using a #0 liner brush and Festive Green, apply long strokes from the circles downward to the bottom of the vase.
    4. Use a #3/0 liner brush and Citron Green to add small leaves, two per stem.
    5. Dip the handle end of a brush into White and add a dot to each colored flower, some in the center, others off to the side. (For any White flowers, pick any color to create dots.)
    6. Allow the vase to dry for 48 hours and then place in cool oven. Heat oven to 325 degrees and bake for 30 minutes. Turn off the oven, prop the oven open, and allow the oven to cool completely before removing the vase. (Alternatively, you can air-cure the vase for 21 days.)
