    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Place the pattern inside the ivy bowl. Using a #8 round brush, outline the pattern in Paprika, White Birch, and Muted Gold. (Refer to photo for color placement.) Remove the pattern and fill in. Using a #8 round brush, paint short horizontal brush strokes in Pumpkin Patch all the way around, with the exception of the front.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Using a #8 round brush, continue with the short horizontal brush strokes starting from the top to the bottom: Muted Gold, Paprika, Dark Scarlet, and Eggplant. Using a #8 round brush, paint the eyes in Muted Gold and Eggplant and the beak and feet in Muted Gold. Add accents over the Paprika-painted areas in Dark Scarlet. (Refer to photo for color placement.)
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Cut wire to the desired length, depending on how long you want the lantern to hang down. Use a pencil to coil the wire on both ends. Add the wire around the top of the bowl, making sure it's taut and adhere the other wire to the bowl. (Add beads if desired.)
