    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Using a measuring tape, measure the length of burlap ribbon needed to wrap around the top of the pumpkin to make the crown. (Cut the piece of burlap ribbon slightly longer than needed, in case it needs to be adjusted.) Using a 1" flat brush and on a flat surface, apply Americana Fabric Stiffener to the entire piece of ribbon. Allow to dry flat completely.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Once dry, sketch out the desired crown shape. (Shown is one with random spikes.) Cut out.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Using floral wire, tie the ends of the crown together. [Optional: Add wire to the spikes of the crown if you would like to be able to adjust the curl of the spikes.]
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Paint the entire crown, inside and out, Lamp Black. Set aside to dry.
    8. Remove the elastic band from the mask. (Set it aside to use later.) Paint the front and back of the mask in Prussian Blue.
    9. Instruction #5
    10. Create a mix of Black, Galaxy Blue, and Purple Craft Twinkles. Put the mask on a movable surface (such as a plate). Using a #5 round brush, apply the mix by taking a glob on the brush and loosely applying it to the mask. (Do not overwork for even glitter application.) Set aside to dry completely.
    11. Instruction #6
    12. Cut the flowers from their metal stems. Remove green paper foliage.
    13. Instruction #7
    14. Create a mix of Prussian Blue, a small amount of Lamp Black, and Ice Blue. Create another mix of Prussian Blue, a small amount of Lamp Black, and Festive Green. Create another mix of Prussian Blue, a small amount of Lamp Black, and Purple Pearl. Paint a variety of sizes of flowers in each color. Save one or more mixes for later step. Let dry. Once dry, add highlights of coordinating Dazzling Metallic colors to all flowers.
    15. Instruction #8
    16. Re-tie the elastic band onto the mask. Once the mask is dry, adhere the smaller flowers onto the left side of the mask using E6000 Glue. Set aside to let dry completely.
    17. Instruction #9
    18. Add a small amount of Ice Blue to the crown. Let dry. Once dry, apply one (or more) of the Craft Twinkles mixes from step 8 randomly from the mask to the crown.
    19. Using E6000 Glue, adhere the remaining flowers and some feathers to the side of the crown as desired.
    20. Position the mask on the pumpkin. Place the crown on top, covering the stem with off-centered flowers.
