NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Using a 1" flat brush, apply Cadmium Red Hue to the frame. While the paint is still wet, apply Quinacridone Violet randomly.
- Use sandpaper to distress the surface, concentrating on the edges of frame and photo cut-out.
- Position the stencil as desired (shown: Americana Daisy Chain Stencil). Randomly stencil on Green Gold and Cobalt Teal Hue using two cosmetic sponges.
- Use the transfer paper and a pencil to transfer the cat pattern onto the scrapbook paper. Cut out the cat.
- Paint the cat's head, legs, and tail Primary Yellow with a #4 round brush. Mix Cadmium Red Hue and Primary Yellow 1:2 and use to paint the body of the cat.
- Use Quinacridone Violet to paint stripes on the tail and a black permanent marker to outline the cat's face and whiskers. Paint the nose in Cadmium Red Hue.
- Apply a coat of Matte Medium on a desired area to place the cat. Place the cat down on the surface and apply another coat of Matte Medium on top.
- Use an oil pastel in a color of choice to outline the cat. Use a finger or cosmetic sponge to fade the outline.
