INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Allow each layer of paint to dry before applying the next. If sanding is necessary, use a mask.
- Remove the drawer knobs and other hardware. If needed, lightly sand the dresser surface to remove any blemishes.
- Apply one to two coats of Tin to the top and sides of the dresser. For the trim, use Vintage Brass.
- Starting at the top left corner, mark lines at about a 60-degree angle with 4-1/2" in between each line. Continue the lines down the dresser, matching as best as possible.
- Once the lines are marked, begin with the lighter Metallic shades up top and the darker shades at the bottom. Stagger the colors and find a pattern that flows. After the first layer, you will need to go back it over again. On the second layer, paint over with similar colors to blend and fade the colors into each other, but keep the colors the same with Metallics you want to highlight.
- Complete the look by outlining each diamond shape with Antique Bronze. Let dry. Replace drawer knobs and other hardware.
