SUPPLIES
- water container
- paper towels
- 1/2" flat brush
- 6" terra cotta pot
- craft knife
- 3" flat brush
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Cover work surface and wipe down any dirty or dusty areas of pot.
- Apply a coat of Primitive to the lower half of flower pot.
- Apply a coat of Everlasting paint on top of the first color layer. Use a light hand or dry brush when applying the layer of color. Allow the first paint color to show through. Cover the entire outside of the pot.
- Apply a layer of Primitive over the top outer half of the pot, covering Everlasting. Allow the Primitive color to completely cover the white.
- Paint the inside of the pot with Primitive. Using a dry brush, add Everlasting to the inside top of the pot, allowing Primitive to show through.
- Add a third layer of paint in Everlasting, to the top outer section of the pot. Do not coat too thick so some of the Primitive color shows through. Using a craft blade, scrape away the paint in the grooves around the center of the pot. Add Primitive to striped area.
- Finish the piece with Ultra Matte Varnish to seal your flower pot.
