    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Use a palette knife to coat the background piece with Texture Sand Paste. Make rows of swirls in it with a brush handle. While the Texture Sand Paste is still wet, press the door, porch pieces, hinges, and windows into it. Allow to dry completely.
    2. Pour puddles of Orange Twist and Persimmon onto the palette or plastic plate. Using a lot of water and a large flat brush, paint areas of the stucco in both colors for a mottled effect.
    3. When dry, dry-brush Pineapple over the swirl pattern. When that is dry, brush Tiger Orange over it.
    4. Paint both pieces of the porch with Lemonade.
    5. Dry-brush Olive Green over the Lemonade porch pieces so that the Lemonade shows through slightly.
    6. Use the #6 flat brush to paint Lamp Black stripes on the porch edges. Use a stylus to dot the other areas with Snow White.
    7. Cut out the scrapbook paper to fit the door. Decoupage it to the door with Americana Gloss Decou-Page following the directions on the bottle.
    8. The door knob is composed of a large peg topped with a smaller bead. The peg is painted Shimmering Silver. The bead is Pineapple. Glue or tack the pieces together and attach to the door.
    9. The door hinges are antique silver flower charms. Glue them into place.
    10. Paint the insides of the windows Winter Blue.
    11. Float Payne’s Grey down the left side and across the bottom of the windows.
    12. Dry-brush Snow White diagonally in the center area of the windows.
    13. Use a computer to print out a sign onto paper and cut it to fit the small wood sign piece. (We used Microsoft Word and the Curlz font.) Decou-page the paper to the wood.
    14. The flower piece was purchased at a local craft store and glued above the door sign. (It can easily be duplicated with small pieces of wood and painted in appropriate colors.)
    15. Glue all pieces above the door.
    16. Paint the entire frame Blue Mist.
    17. Dry-brush Olive Green over the frame. Add more dry-brushing with Bright Green.
    18. The embellishments are painted Pineapple, Orange Twist, and Bright Green.
    19. The Orange Twist embellishments have stylus dots of Snow White. The Pineapple embellishments have dots of Lamp Black.
    20. Spray with Americana Gloss Spray Sealer.
    21. Thin Lamp Black with water. Using a large brush, cover a section at a time and then wipe with a damp paper towel to antique.
    22. Varnish all wooden pieces with DuraClear Gloss Varnish.
    23. Cut six strands of ribbon (two of each color) 26″ long. Tie or glue them to the top sides. Trim them at different lengths and tie beads at the ends to embellish.
    24. Cut more ribbon in 7″ lengths to tie or glue across the top. Trim as necessary.
