INSTRUCTIONS

  1. You will need: Cardstock, die-cut phrase, scissors, a flat and round brush, DecoArt Media Spray Misters: Primary Magenta, Yellow Green, Turquoise (Shimmer), Orange, and Yellow, Matte Medium, and a Fluid Acrylic color of choice.
  2. Use the spray misters to make splatters on watercolor on your mixed media paper. Allow to fully dry. On a second sheet of paper, use a pencil to draw on two balloons and a present. Use scissors to cut out the shapes.
  3. Use a flat brush to adhere the shapes to the card. Then use a round brush with Cobalt Turquoise Hue to make the balloon string and ribbon on the presents.
  4. Use a Silhouette machine to cut out the words "happy birthday" in font of choice onto cardstock. Then use the Magenta spray mister to completely coat the words and let dry.
  5. Use a flat brush to adhere the words to the card. Then use the handle end of the round brush dipped in Primary Magenta to make random polka dots on the card.
