Day of the Dead Mixed Media Card

Celebrate El Dia de Los Muertos with this mixed media card.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- paper towels
- tracing paper
- scissors
- pencil
- 3/4" flat brush
- scrapbook paper
- cardstock
- dropper
INSTRUCTIONS
- Paint the front of the card using a 3/4" flat brush with Carbon Black. (Or, if you are cutting your own card from cardstock, cut the cardstock 10" x 7"; fold in half; and paint.) Let dry. Use a 3/4" flat brush to add a medium-to-thick coat of Clear Crackle Glaze. Immediately drop Blue (Interference) and Magenta (Interference) all over the card with a dropper. Set aside and let dry.
- Use scissors to cut pieces out of the Americana Decou-Page Paisley Punch Paper. (See photo for pieces.)
- Trace the skull pattern onto the white "word printed" scrapbook paper with tracing paper and a pencil; use scissors to cut. Use a 3/4 flat brush to adhere the pieces into place with Matte Medium. (Refer to photo for placement.)
- Use a 3/4" flat brush and Matte Medium to adhere the skull into place. (Refer to photo for placement.)
- Use a 3/4" flat brush and Matte Medium to adhere the flowers into place. (Refer to photo for placement.)
- Print the words (in a font of your choice) "Day of the DEAD". (Print DEAD larger; refer to photo.) Cut out and adhere the words to the card using a 3/4" flat brush and Matte Medium.
