Chevron and Chalkboard Frame

You can mark the passage of time with a photo and chalkboard notes on this vibrantly striped frame.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- sandpaper
- pencil
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- #12 flat brush
- wooden frame
- four jumbo craft sticks
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Allow to dry between painting steps.
- Use a pencil and tracing and transfer papers to trace and transfer the chevron pattern onto the frame.
- Use a #12 flat brush to fill in the chevron stripes using Lavender, Indian Turquoise, and Sea Breeze.
- Use the same brush to paint the jumbo craft sticks Lavender. Let dry completely.
- Sand the painted craft sticks for a vintage look.
- Use a #12 flat brush with Clear Chalkboard Coating to go over all Lavender surfaces. (Follow directions on label.)
- Use a hot glue gun to glue the jumbo craft sticks around the photo opening.
