Personalized Chalkboard Burlap Tote

Chalk this oh-so practical tote up to being fashionably outfitted with Americana® Chalkboard Paint.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- scissors
- pencil
- 3/4" flat brush
- chalk
- hand drill
- jute twine
- small burlap tote
- small wood plaque
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Allow to dry between steps.
- Use a 3/4” flat brush to paint plaque with a coat of Black Chalkboard Paint. Let dry and repeat as needed. Rinse brush.
- Once the plaque is dry, use a pencil to mark where you want the holes in the plaque.
- Use a hand drill to make two holes in the plaque.
- Use the tip of a pencil to make holes in the tote to match those in the plaque.
- Use scissors to cut jute or string. Loop jute/string through the plaque and tote and tie it into a bow.
- Use the side of the chalk to condition plaque.
