    • 1/2" flat brush
    • #4 round brush

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Apply dots of Phthalo Blue, Cobalt Teal Hue, and Cerulean Blue randomly throughout the canvas. Using a 1" flat brush, spread the paint throughout the canvas, wetting the brush with water to create a watercolor look. Set a clean paper towel on the canvas to soak up the excess water. (This will also leave the embossed pattern of the paper towel behind.)
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Print and cut out the face. Using Matte Medium, apply the face to the canvas and apply another coat of Matte Medium on top. Using a 1:2 ratio of Quinacridone Magenta and Titanium White, roughly mark out the design of the hair. (If added dimension is desired, use a stencil of your choice and apply White Modeling Paste. See flowers in photo.)
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Using Quinacridone Magenta and Titanium White, fill in the hair design lightly.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Position a stencil of your choice in a desired location. (Shown: Americana Jacobean Floral Stencil) Using a cosmetic sponge, apply Viridian Green Hue randomly. Cut out flower shapes from Americana Decou-Page Paper (shown: Paisley Punch) and begin laying out where you would like them.
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Using Titanium White and Quinacridone Magenta, fill in the hair using a 1/2" flat brush. (Leave some of the stenciling showing through.)
    10. Decoupage desired flowers in position with Matte Medium. Mix a 1:1 ratio of Titanium White and Primary Yellow. Using a #4 round brush and the mix, outline the flowers. Using the same mix, apply to the Americana Reusable Stick-On Dots Stencil randomly using a cosmetic sponge. Mix a 1:1 ratio of Viridian Green Hue and Titanium White. Using a #4 round brush and the mix, randomly outline some of the leaf stenciling.
    11. Instruction #6
