Bird on Teacup Mixed Media Canvas

This teatime companion makes for a cheerful addition to a kitchen or breakfast nook.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- scissors
- pencil
- 3/4" flat brush
- cosmetic sponge
- scrapbook paper
- wooden canvas
INSTRUCTIONS
- Use a 3/4" flat brush to basecoat the wooden canvas with Matte Medium.
- Place the Americana Numbers Collage Stencil on the wooden canvas; use a cosmetic sponge to dab on Burnt Umber.
- Print out the words "Anytime is tea time" in your choice of font. Use a pencil to trace the cup and bird pattern onto scrapbook paper and cut out with scissors. Use a 3/4" flat brush to loosely paint the cup, bird, and words with Primary Magenta, Cobalt Teal Hue, and Diarylide Yellow. (Add water for a transparent watercolor look.)
- Use a 3/4" flat brush and Americana Matte Decou-Page to adhere the cup, bird, and words in place. (Refer to photo for placement.)
