Mason Jar Beverage Glasses

Simple Mason jars make great casual beverage containers when painted with Americana® Gloss Enamels™.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- rubbing alcohol
- 1" painter's tape
- cosmetic sponge
- pint-size Mason jars
- cupcake papers of your choice
- drinking straws of your choice
- #10/0 liner brush
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Allow to dry between painting steps.
Preparation: Wash jars in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry well before painting. Or clean glass surfaces with rubbing alcohol and let dry.
- Striped Jar: Position and adhere strips of 1" painter’s tape vertically on the jar.
- Use a cosmetic sponge to gently tap Black onto open areas.
- Remove the tape. Let dry.
- Daisy Jar: Use a #10/0 liner brush and White to paint daisy petals in a circle. Repeat randomly over the jar surface.
- Use a #10/0 liner brush and Festive Green to paint leaf clusters next to each daisy.
- Use handle end of a paintbrush and Bright Orange to dot flower centers. Let dry.
