#10 flat brush
paper towels
water container
palette or plastic plate
two sheets of scrapbook paper (in different designs)
hot glue gun and glue sticks
two buttons of matching color
pencil
scissors
Instructions
Note: Allow to dry between painting steps.
Hold scrapbook paper up to star and trace/crease to transfer individual triangle shape. Use one paper design for one side of each star point, and other paper for the other side, so that two patterns alternate.
Cut out all pieces with scissors.
Using #10 flat brush, apply small amount of DecouPage to triangle and firmly press paper down. Apply more DecouPage over top of paper to seal. Continue working around whole star until all points are covered. Let dry completely.
Repeat on back.
Use hot glue gun to apply button to center of star on each side.
