Frosted Tree Ornament

paper towels
water container
palette or plastic plate
clear Con-Tact® paper
scissors
cosmetic sponge
ribbon of your choice
alcohol
fine-point black permanent marker
silver shredded foil or tinsel

Instructions

Note: Allow to dry between painting steps.

  1. Remove cap from ornament.
  2. Clean ornament with alcohol. Let dry completely before painting.
  3. Use marker to draw or trace tree and star patterns onto Con-Tact® paper. Cut out shapes with scissors.
  4. Peel off paper backing and position tree and star shapes on ornament.
  5. Use cosmetic sponge to lightly pounce White Frost over entire ornament, and allow to dry completely.
  6. Carefully peel off shape.
  7. Fill ornament with foil/tinsel, then replace cap.
  8. Use Red Frost Gloss Enamel Writer to add dots at tips of tree branches.
  9. Cut and thread ribbon into ornament hanger, and tie with a bow.
