Manufacturing Operations

Manufacturing Operations Manager

Efficient Manufacturing Operations and Engineering is the key to our manufacturing success. As a leader in this area, you will oversee and direct the activities of production processes and operational improvements in our manufacturing arena. The Manufacturing Operations Manager is responsible for engaging the team and managing and implementing production and efficiency enhancement projects in defined areas. Additionally, this position will cross-functionally coordinate scheduling with production requirements while maximizing reporting functions and production data. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven expertise in Manufacturing Business, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years Leadership experience in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience and thorough understanding of MRP systems and other PCIC concepts

Operations Team Lead

Under general direction of the Manufacturing Operations Manager, the Operations Team Lead has responsibility for ensuring that production requirements are met, appropriate staffing levels are maintained, employee relations are good, and a safe/clean work environment is maintained. The person in this position will plan, direct, coordinate, and control manufacturing activities in assigned work area to achieve established management goals.

  • Proven expertise in Manufacturing Business, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years Leadership experience in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations equipment and troubleshooting of mechanical issues as required.

Laboratory

Paint Formulation Chemist

Formulation and development to support our growth leads to the expansion of our Laboratory staff. Under the general supervision of the Technical Manager, the Paint Formulation Chemist plays an integral role in lab operations, including, but not limited to: creation and development of new and innovative paint formulations, optimization of existing paint formulations, minimization of product cost, and efficiency and integration of new raw material technologies. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • BS in Science with a minor in Chemistry or equivalent is preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years formulation development experience. Architectural Coatings Industry, preferred.
  • Knowledge of specialty acrylic resins, pigments and other raw materials in acrylic paints and specialty finishes markets.

Product Development

Product Development Coordinator

As an integral part of the Product Development team, the Product Development Coordinator will research, develop, and manage product development projects. While ensuring effective commercialization of new products and product enhancements, and doing extensive market research from the developmental stage through the completion of marketing programs, the Product Development Coordinator will engage staff members to ensure completion and accuracy of documentation, processes, and standards. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 4 Year Degree in Marketing, related field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven expertise in consumer product marketing and trend identification.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of creative marketing strategies.

Hourly Production

Automated Machine Operators (2nd and 3rd shift)

The Automated Machine Operator Positions require a solid work history and proven trouble shooting, mechanical, and preventative maintenance abilities. This position has an Hourly Pay rate of $13.23-$14.40 + shift premium. Qualified candidates will have:

  • High level of problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
  • Proven mechanical skills and preventative maintenance capability.
  • Solid work history including 2 years prior experiencing operating automatic machines to meet production standards.

Packers (2nd and 3rd shift)

The Packer positions require a solid work history, along with strong attentiveness to detail and quality, and the ability to assist operators with production needs. This position has an Hourly Pay rate of $10.02-$11.14 + shift premium. Qualified candidates will have:

  • Strong figure aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to assist machine operators with line efficiency
  • Proven abilities to work in a fast-paced assembly process

Manual Machine Operators (2nd and 3rd shift)

The Manual Machine Operator positions require a solid work history, along with mid-level mechanical skills and a proven ability to troubleshoot and utilize hand tools to make minor adjustments. Hourly pay rate of $9.63 - $10.70 + shift premium. Qualified candidates will have:

  • Solid work history
  • Mid-level mechanical skills
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and utilize hand tools to make minor adjustments.
  • High degree of manual dexterity
  • Attentiveness to detail and quality
