Maxx Gloss Trends in Home Decor

Maxx Gloss Trends in Home Decor

Glossy furniture and home décor has recently increased in popularity. You can create glossy home accessories that bring color to your home and stand out against matte finishes you may already have. We recently received a piano that we would like to refinish in a glossy color. I’ve been looking for inspiration online and was so happy to see the bright colored DIY’s I found. Here are some of my favorite glossy projects using Maxx Gloss paint.

This beautiful polka dot Kate Spade inspired desk would look great in a teen room or home office. I love the glossy polka dots and the black & white with gold hardware. Tutorial via Mark Montano.

I joke about being stuck in the 80s/90s all the time, but I love with anything that reminds me of my childhood. I remember the big Christmas light bulbs my mother used to hang on our house every year. Even after the icicles lights were popular she could never let go of her favorite colored lights. Which is why I happen to adore this vintage Christmas light garland from My Sister’s Suitcase.

Add a bold pop of color with a glossy furniture makeover like By Brittany Goldwyn. This piano bench is giving me some major color inspiration for our piano makeover.

The marbled trend has been quite popular over the last year. You can create a modern, glossy marbled Christmas tree trio this holiday season like Persia Lou.

If you’re looking to find small DIY projects to incorporate gloss into your home, try making over a dish or bowl like Under the Sycamore.

Mix glossy furniture with rustic, industrial accents like The Funky Shop.

Or you can mix in glossy furniture with glossy accessories like this DIY Kate Spade inspired lamp by Mark Montano.
